The more activity that occurs at one time, the more bandwidth is used.
Can bandwidth really be unlimited?
Actually…No. Unlimited bandwidth is when a hosting company states that they do not place a monthly cap on the amount of data that is allowed to pass to and from your website. How much bandwidth do I need?
To figure out how much bandwidth you need, consider the following example:
50kb average page size, 20,000 estimated visitors per month, 5 estimated pages view per visitor.
(50 x 20,000 x 5 =5,000,000kb) which translates into 5GB of bandwidth needed.

Shared Hosting is when websites are on a shared space provided by a hosting company. There could potentially be thousands of websites sharing one large space on an individual server provided by a hosting company. The advantage to shared hosting is this option is usually less expensive than other types of hosting; Dedicated Server Hosting, Cloud Web Hosting or VPS.
